Trainee Mortgage Loan Processor

As a Trainee Processor, you will support our processing team while learning the lifecycle of a wholesale mortgage loan. You will be trained on how to structure loan files, navigate lender portals, and use our cutting-edge software,

Arive . Your primary goal is to assist in getting loans from application to the closing table while mastering the skills needed to become a full-cycle processor. Key Responsibilities

File Setup: Assist in setting up new loan files in Arive, ensuring all initial data is accurate and complete. Document Collection: Communicate with borrowers to collect necessary documentation (pay stubs, bank statements, tax returns) under the guidance of a Senior Processor. Vendor Management: Order third-party services such as title work, homeowners insurance, and verifications of employment (VOE). Status Updates: Help maintain communication with loan officers and real estate agents regarding file status. Learning & Development: Actively learn FHA, VA, USDA, and Conventional loan guidelines and wholesale lender requirements. Qualifications

Experience: No prior mortgage experience required. Background in banking, real estate, administrative support, or data entry is a plus. Skills: Strong computer literacy is essential. Ability to learn new software quickly. Attributes: Extreme attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a deadline-driven environment. Communication: Professional phone and email etiquette. Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is a plus. Work Environment

This job operates in the field and within professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Physical Demands

This is a full time at will position, and work hours are typically Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as department needs demand. Travel
