Responsibilities
Lead and supervise all concrete construction activities from layout through placement and finishing. Coordinate daily work plans for crews performing formwork, rebar installation, concrete pours, and curing. Ensure proper sequencing of concrete operations to meet overall project schedule milestones. Monitor site productivity and adjust manpower and resources as needed. Work closely with the Project Manager to develop and maintain short-term and long-term concrete work schedules. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and other trades to ensure smooth execution of pours and related activities. Plan and manage concrete placements including pump scheduling, delivery logistics, and crew readiness. Ensure all concrete work meets project specifications, structural requirements, and industry standards. Review drawings, shop drawings, and pour plans to confirm accuracy prior to execution. Enforce all OSHA and company safety policies on site. Conduct toolbox talks and safety meetings focused on concrete operations and high-risk activities. Identify and correct unsafe conditions related to heavy equipment, pours, elevated formwork, and confined areas.
