Private Dining Manager

to join our Pier Sixty-Six Resort team!

The Private Dining Manager works across disciplines to deliver an exceptional experience and is accountable for the overall success of private dining experiences. Exhibits excellent communication and follow-up with all inquiries among all dining outlets. Works to continually improve guest satisfaction while maximizing financial performance in all areas of responsibility.

Reporting to the Director of Food & Beverage, you will manage full-circle booking and planning for private dining reservations by collaborating with the food and beverage leaders and operators.

Responsibilities

Respond to large party inquiries for all restaurants. Groups of 12 or more, full and partial buy-outs.

Track inquiry demand, forecast monthly, and collaborate with individual restaurant General Managers and Chefs to determine goals, minimums, and rental guidelines.

Work with clients (internal or external) to plan and execute events.

Confirm availability.

Reserve space.

Liaise with the restaurant team to design events (menu planning, beverages, etc.).

Contract events, collect deposits, and prepare final billing.

Coordinate décor, entertainment, and personalized options for clients based on outlet guidelines.

Collaborate with the Director of Lifestyle and other leaders on resort-wide initiatives and in-house events.

Generate restaurant event orders (REOs), distribute, and attend Event Order Meetings as required.

Greet clients upon arrival to ensure expectations are met and hand off to the restaurant General Manager for execution.

Follow up post-event with thanks, close billing, and encourage return visits.

Responsibilities may change as the resort develops best practices, programming schedules, and more.

Qualifications

2–5 years of hospitality experience, preferably in food and beverage.

Strong knowledge of Delphi.fdc, Social Tables, Reserve, OpenTable, Agilisys, InfoGenesis (preferred, not required).

Excellent communication skills and a strong, innovative mindset.

Knowledge of Forbes service standards.

Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Wine and spirits knowledge and service training knowledge.
