Zanda is partnering with a venture-backed, high-growth B2B SaaS company with a global footprint across North America, EMEA, and APAC that is looking to appoint a hands-on Controller to build a best-in-class, audit-ready accounting function to support its next phase of scale. What experiences you will gain
Own Audit Readiness End-to-End:
Lead internal controls, documentation, auditor selection, and execution of the first external audit. Technical Accounting Leadership:
Take ownership of complex areas including revenue recognition, commissions capitalization, stock-based compensation, leases, income taxes, and business combinations. Global Accounting & Consolidations:
Manage multi-entity, multi-currency environments, including intercompany, FX, and statutory requirements across international subsidiaries. Build Scalable Infrastructure:
Define and implement the accounting systems roadmap (ERP, revenue, and close tooling) and drive a sub-5-business-day close. Strategic Finance Partnership:
Partner closely with Finance leadership on international expansion, operating model decisions, and alignment between financial reporting and business performance. M&A Exposure:
Support diligence, purchase accounting, and post-close integration for acquisitions. Team Development:
Mentor and scale the accounting team while remaining close to the detail in a hands-on capacity. What background should you have before you press apply!
8–12+ years of progressive accounting experience, with senior leadership in a high-growth B2B SaaS environment. Big 4 audit or technical accounting advisory experience strongly preferred, ideally leading audits for venture-backed or scale-up businesses. Proven track record of taking a company through audit readiness and leading external audits. Deep technical expertise across SaaS revenue models, multi-entity structures, and complex accounting areas. Experience operating in international, multi-currency environments. CPA from Big 4 strongly preferred. Nice to have:
Experience supporting international entity setup and operating model design. Exposure to SOX, IPO readiness, or public company audit cycles. Track record of leveraging modern tooling and automation to build lean, high-quality accounting functions.
