
BioMed Realty is seeking an experienced candidate to support the Company’s East Coast and U.K. Leasing teams by conducting market research, aggregating data, and performing analysis to drive strategic leasing decisions and achieve business objectives.
What You’ll Do
Prepare, update, and monitor real estate market data for the MA and UK regions
Conduct research and aggregate data, collaborate with internal and external resources
Provide analysis and prepare supporting schedules/reports
Articulate real estate and life science industry trends and results
Maintain and streamline data for various user groups
Track and manage data across markets in a centralized, standardized fashion
Develop new analytical tools and processes.
Assist with tracking of market-specific industry data.
Research and share relevant news for the company’s existing and prospective tenant base.
Spearhead compiling and reviewing data for the company’s East Coast & U.K. market level date for the board reporting process
Provide other support on recurring or ad hoc projects as needed
Develop relationships with brokers and other key market stakeholders
Support Leasing team on prospect identification, client tours, transaction management, and financial analysis.
Experience & Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, real estate, accounting, or economics.
Demonstrated related industry experience in finance, consulting, commercial real estate, or quantitative research, with a strong foundation in financial fundamentals and data analytics.
Competencies Critical for Success:
Analysis & Problem Solving – Ability to gather, organize, consolidate, and interpret data from various sources, drawing accurate and realistic observations and conclusions.
Written Communication – Effectively expressing ideas and information clearly in properly structured, well‑organized and grammatically correct reports, documents and communications.
Software Proficiency – Strong Excel skills are a must along with proficient PowerPoint, and Word skills and competence with various real‑estate and market tools (Co‑Star, Pitchbook, etc.)
Collaboration – interface with numerous departments including operations, asset management, legal, development, as well as external resources, including brokers, tenants and prospective tenants.
Planning and Organization – conduct research and aggregate, prepare, update, track, maintain and manage data across markets in a centralized, standardized fashion.
Attention to Detail – taking responsibility for a thorough and detailed method of working with few errors.
Teamwork – working as a productive member of a cohesive group toward common goals and contributing to team development and effective team dynamics.
Data Gathering & Management – monitoring, tracking, compiling and reviewing data, conducting research, and providing analysis and supporting schedules/reports.
Persuasion/Influence – effectively present real estate and life science industry data, themes, trends and results to a variety of stakeholders.
Salary : $95,000 - $120,000 per year + bonus + long‑term incentive + benefits
