Position Overview The Corporate Real Estate Strategy & Portfolio Leader will develop and implement a comprehensive multi-year category strategy, optimizing utilization and portfolio management. The role involves collaboration with key stakeholders, negotiating complex purchase and lease contracts, tracking performance metrics, managing master services agreements, and driving total cost of ownership.

Location On‑site in Melbourne, Florida. Other eligible locations include Tysons Corner, VA; Charlotte, NC; Cleveland, OH; and Lynchburg, VA.

Your day‑to‑day as a Corporate Real Estate Strategy & Portfolio Leader

Develop, execute, and implement a complete multi‑year strategy for Real Estate and Facilities.

Collaborate with key stakeholders, budget owners, and suppliers to optimize spend and build strong partnerships, focusing on total cost of ownership.

Prepare, structure and execute negotiations for complex purchase and lease contracts, engaging Legal as needed, and employing RFx, spend pattern analysis, contract analysis, bid evaluation, and supplier consolidation.

Define and monitor category performance metrics, using “should cost” and total cost of ownership models to track productivity and utilization.

Evaluate supplier core competencies and competitiveness through industry cost models and benchmarking, informing category strategy development.

Manage Commercial Real Estate Services, Master Services Agreements, master license and service agreements, Statements of Work, and amendments, operating autonomously with full ownership of categories.

Required Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree with at least 7 years of commercial real estate and facilities management with strategic sourcing experience. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Strong data analytics skills and experience generating strategic insights for informed decision‑making.

Fact‑based decision‑making mindset, leveraging market data, spend analytics, and cost modeling.

Experience using BI tools and analytics to identify automation opportunities and analyze spending patterns, market trends, and procurement data.

Extensive knowledge of commercial agreement structures and key legal terms.

Understanding of legal terms and implications; ability to redline contracts aligned with legal guidelines.

Contract drafting experience and understanding of commercial and legal contractual terms.

Expert negotiator with proven experience setting negotiation strategies and conducting negotiations.

Experience assessing risk and concisely explaining complex issues to principal business owners.

Strong project management skills, including adherence to stakeholder timelines.

Proven written and oral communication, strategic, analytical, and interpersonal skills to act as an effective change agent.

Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Must have the ability to obtain DOE "L" Security Clearance.

Preferred Additional Qualifications

Experience using SAP.

Real Estate licensure.

Pay: $114,000 – $180,000 per year. The base salary range is based on local market factors and may vary based on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
