Overview

BeaconMedaes is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Medical and Laboratory Piped Equipment Sales Representative to develop and expand our medical and laboratory gas business within the responsible territory. In this role, you will promote BeaconMedaes products, services, and solutions while driving revenue growth and achieving established sales targets. This position is responsible for building strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and representing BeaconMedaes with professionalism and technical expertise. The role will be based in Nashville, TN. Roles and Responsibilities

Product Sales (90%)

– Prospect, source, and maintain quality customers in the assigned area. Achieve or exceed sales goals by developing action plans and schedules to identify specific prospects, targets, and markets and to project number of contacts. Manage, call on, and sell products directly to customers. Follow up on new leads and referrals. Establish regular contact with existing and new customers (including key accounts). Respond promptly to inquiries. Introduce new products. Study customer needs and coordinate customer service. Engage in planned prospecting activities to broaden the customer base. Provide in-service training to customers. Prepare and present quotes, proposals, pricing, and credit terms. Oversee customer services through quality checks and follow-up; identify and resolve concerns. Maintain a professional image and enhance division and company reputation and brand image by applying the company’s core values of commitment, interaction, and innovation. Coordinate business with BeaconMedaes manufacturer reps in the territory. Include reporting on sales, marketing and growth activities, periodic reviews, and support for the rep’s activities related to BeaconMedaes. Support and consult with medical/life sciences design engineers in the territory through education, product specifications, sizing, and code requirements. Develop relationships with local Service Sales Representatives and Service Technicians to increase revenues and ensure customer satisfaction. Take appropriate actions to complete tasks and maintain communications with all people involved in the mission. Personal Development

Continuously update job knowledge for products, sales/marketing strategies, codes, design and skills by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, networking, and participating in professional organizations. Reporting

Prepare reports on activity, lost orders, closings, follow-up, and performance against budget. Report on developments and feedback from field activity, including recommendations for product, service, pricing changes and competitive observations. Qualifications

Experience:

3 years of relevant technical sales experience, preferably in the Medical or Laboratory Gas Industry Education:

Four-year degree in engineering, business or marketing or equivalent Skills:

NFPA99 knowledge as it pertains to medical gas applications; estimation related to medical gas installation drawings; technical knowledge of medical gas pipeline and source equipment; self-motivation with excellent organizational, interpersonal, and verbal/written communication and presentation skills; team-building with a positive attitude; proven business analysis skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Travel

This role requires up to 75% travel. Occasional overnight travel will also be necessary. Benefits and Company Information
