Property Manager
– located in
Irving, Texas . Responsibilities
Provide outstanding customer service for all residents; develop and maintain open lines of communication with all residents. Hire, terminate, supervise, train, and motivate staff to achieve operational goals for the assigned property. Perform new employee orientation and conduct performance reviews for all staff per guidelines. Ensure that maintenance requests are handled promptly, and notify residents if parts cause delays. Provide residents with a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment. Maintain accurate records of management activity daily, weekly, and monthly for payroll, financial transactions, ledgers, and move-ins/move-outs. Adhere to company policies regarding personnel, accounting, maintenance, purchasing, work orders, landscaping, safety, and related directives. Supervise outside contractors in coordination with the Maintenance Supervisor; provide vendor/contractor communications regarding work scheduling, billings, and vendor relations. Continuously inspect property and improvements, record deficiencies, and take necessary action within budget. Manage file management for apartment move-ins/outs and lease renewals; manage Assistant Manager in collection and tracking of monthly rent and reporting. Has experience in Capital Projects and/or Renovations. Qualifications
Four (4) years’ experience in multifamily property management. Certifications: ARM, CPM, CAM, CAPS, or professional equivalent. Experience with MS Office (intermediate Word/Excel/Outlook; basic PowerPoint and Access). Ability to respond in an emergency and perform accounting (accounts payable/receivable) and administrative functions. Ability to analyze financial documents. High school diploma/GED; Bachelor's degree preferred. Yardi experience preferred. Compensation & Benefits
