The Commercial Portfolio team is integral to supporting and servicing the Commercial Loan Lifecycle. The Commercial Portfolio Analyst II will help manage commercial loans after origination for FourLeaf’s Commercial Lending Department to ensure compliance with our Member Business Loan credit policy and regulatory guidelines, as well as maintain the credit quality of the portfolio. Commercial Portfolio Analyst II manages a portfolio that includes loans with moderate exposures and higher levels of credit risk. Core Contributions
Manage a portfolio of Commercial Real Estate (CRE) loans by ensuring timely review, decisioning, and renewal of all loans assigned. The portfolio typically consists of 25–35 loans that are moderately complex and represent moderate exposure within the overall portfolio. Maintain accurate and up-to-date credit files. Generate Annual Review letters to request annual reporting requirements for loans within one’s assigned portfolio. This includes proactively working with Borrowers and Relationship Managers directly to obtain the necessary information, monitoring compliance, and updating one’s pipeline with the information received and requests made. Review tax returns and/or financial statements to prepare detailed and effective annual review memos to report on covenant compliance in accordance with loan documents. Analysis will focus on repayment sources, cash flow – property and global, historical trends, leases, guarantors (entity and personal), industry / asset risks, and relationship exposure. Identify key risks and mitigants of a particular loan and document conclusions and recommendations clearly and concisely. For potential problem loans, identify root causes and determine appropriate monitoring. Ensure loans are reported properly in FourLeaf’s commercial lending and core systems. Proactively work with Borrowers, Commercial Lending Operations, Relationship Management, Servicing and Workout teams, vendors, legal counsel and loan participants to provide the best employee and member experience. This includes timely addressing off-cycle loan requests, inclusive of lease analysis, escrow holdback releases in accordance with the loan documents, change in ownership, release and/or replacement of guarantors, etc. This also includes setting proper expectations with all parties, obtaining appropriate approval as outlined in policy, and potentially participant approval. Demonstrate strong competency in FourLeaf’s Commercial Loan Portfolio Management system. Demonstrate growing proficiency in FourLeaf’s core system, DNA, and consistently extract Borrower, Guarantor, and Loan data with accuracy and independence Assets You Will Bring
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or a related field preferred. 3+ years in Commercial Lending, including familiarity with business and personal tax returns and/or financial statements. Completion of internal or external fundamental CRE lending program. Proficient understanding of: CRE spreading (business tax returns and financial statements, personal tax returns and financial statements, and Global Cash flow analysis). CRE collateral analysis including rent roll analysis, lease analysis, and fundamental valuation methods. CRE loan structures and legal documentation. Proficient in credit analysis and writing. Experienced in loan portfolio management. Good verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills. Works well in a team environment. Strong attention to detail, analytical and organizational skills. Desire to work in an agile environment for a fast-growing financial institution. Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this role is $35.92 to $43.11 per hour.
