
Senior Analyst, Asset Management

$75 per hour, DOE
Overview We are supporting a Senior Asset Management Analyst to join a high-performing finance team focused on fixed-asset accounting and financial integrity. This role plays a critical part in maintaining accurate asset records, ensuring GAAP compliance, and supporting audits, reporting, and capital planning. Ideal for someone who enjoys precision, ownership, and improving processes without being micromanaged.
What You’ll Do
Own fixed-asset accounting processes, policies, and controls.
Maintain and reconcile the fixed-asset register with high accuracy.
Record asset acquisitions, transfers, disposals, and depreciation.
Support quarterly and annual asset confirmations.
Prepare asset-related financial statements, reports, and variance analyses.
Assist with capital budgeting and forecasting activities.
Partner with IT and operations on asset tagging and tracking.
Support internal and external audits, including documentation requests.
Administer leased asset records and lease accounting activities.
Identify discrepancies, resolve issues, and strengthen internal controls.
Drive process improvements and maintain policy documentation.
Qualifications, Must Haves
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
5+ years of professional accounting experience.
Hands-on experience with fixed assets and asset lifecycle management.
Proficiency with SAP or a comparable ERP system.
Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Highly organized, proactive, and dependable self-starter.
Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have
Experience supporting the automobile industry.
CPA certification.
