We are looking for a driven sales professional to join our remote team and help us expand our client footprint.

The Role We are seeking a motivated

Business Development Specialist

to drive growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities. Your primary focus will be B2B sales: hunting for companies that are actively hiring and convincing them to utilize The Midtown Group’s staffing services to fill their open roles.

You will be the tip of the spear in our sales efforts, researching potential clients, initiating contact with hiring managers, and selling the value of our recruitment solutions. While this position is fully remote, we require candidates to be based in Texas to align with our current team operations.

Key Responsibilities

Prospecting & Lead Generation:

actively research companies across the U.S. that are hiring for Contract and Direct Hire positions.

Client Acquisition:

Execute high-volume cold calling, email campaigns, and LinkedIn outreach to connect with Hiring Managers, HR Directors, and Internal Recruiters.

Relationship Building:

Develop and nurture relationships with new clients to understand their hiring needs and secure exclusive or non-exclusive staffing agreements.

Negotiation:

Successfully negotiate contract terms, fee agreements (typically 20-25%), and service level agreements with new clients.

Collaboration:

Work closely with our recruiting team (including Lead Recruiters) to ensure job orders are fillable and align with our candidate network.

Market Intelligence:

Stay updated on industry trends (e.g., manufacturing, legal, finance) to identify emerging hiring surges.

Qualifications

Residency:

Must currently reside in the state of

Texas .

Experience:

2+ years of experience in B2B sales, Business Development, or Account Management. Experience specifically within the

Staffing/Recruiting industry

is highly preferred.

Skills:

Strong cold-calling skills and a lack of phone reluctance are essential.

Tech Savvy:

Proficiency with modern CRM tools, LinkedIn Recruiter/Sales Navigator, and remote work software.

Communication:

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; able to craft professional emails and command attention on the phone.

Self-Starter:

Ability to work independently in a 100% remote environment with high accountability.
