Become a valued member of Humana's Financial Planning & Analysis team, part of our CFO division. This team plays a key role in driving financial performance and insights, primarily focusing on Individual Medicare Advantage (MA). As an Actuary in Analytics/Forecasting, you'll have a dynamic role with significant exposure to senior leadership and substantial opportunities for career advancement.

The Actuary, Analytics/Forecasting will analyze and predict financial and economic data, delivering accurate and timely insights for strategic and operational decision-making. You will establish metrics, conduct data analyses, and support business intelligence initiatives. By assessing industry trends and market dynamics, you'll provide valuable forecasts on the organization’s financial positioning over various time horizons. This role entails evaluating complex issues and developing cost-effective solutions to enhance data integrity and resolve anomalies.
Your responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders to understand business challenges, advising executives on strategic initiatives, and exercising independent judgment in decision-making related to complex tasks.
Utilize Your Skills to Make a Difference! Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
FSA or ASA, along with advanced relevant degree or equivalent professional designations and experience.
MAAA certification
Strong communication abilities
Experience in multiple functions including modeling, pricing, rate filing, reporting & analysis, and reserving.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Medicare Advantage pricing and forecasting
Background in enterprise-level financial planning and analysis
Proven ability to critically assess assumptions and propose innovative solutions
Additional Information This is a remote position, though occasional travel to Humana’s offices for training or meetings may be necessary.
Scheduled Weekly Hours 40
Compensation Salary range is $129,300 - $177,800 per year, with eligibility for a bonus incentive plan based on performance.
