Lead and manage audit and assurance engagements from planning through completion in Buffalo Grove. Collaborate with managers and leadership to deliver precise, timely, and high-quality client service. Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, schedules, and audit documentation. Mentor and support junior staff, providing guidance on technical and engagement issues. Apply analytical, organizational, and project management skills to complex audits. Communicate professionally with clients and internal teams, offering practical solutions. Stay informed on current accounting standards, regulations, and industry best practices. Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; Master's or advanced degree preferred. CPA eligible required; CPA designation strongly preferred. Minimum of 3 years of public accounting experience, including at least one busy season at the senior associate or supervisory level. Hands-on experience in audit and assurance services; familiarity with construction, manufacturing/distribution, technology, or M&A engagements preferred. Strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software applications.
