Job Description As the Healthcare Professional (HCP) Consulting Management Specialist I, you will administer the end‑to‑end process of HCP engagements across the Americas, ensuring all tasks are executed successfully. This role is essential for upholding the highest standards and adherence to internal policies, reinforcing our commitment to compliance and operational integrity.
The core responsibilities include onboarding HCPs, drafting and executing consulting contracts, auditing expense reports, and processing payments. Additionally, you will build and maintain strong relationships with internal customers by providing effective guidance, timely support, and seamless coordination. Your commitment to precision and operational efficiency will champion compliant and successful HCP engagements, advancing patient safety and quality.
Job Duties
Gather and manage HCP onboarding documentation to ensure completeness, currentness, and compliance with internal policies and procedures. Maintain HCP vendor records for efficient payment processing.
Perform due diligence screenings to ensure HCPs are not excluded, debarred, or suspended from federally funded health care programs.
Evaluate and process HCP engagement requests, offering constructive feedback and guidance to address deficiencies and clarify ambiguities across all aspects of the request.
Draft and execute contracts, ensuring they adhere to internal policies, legal standards, and approval processes.
Audit contract deliverables (e.g., work products, service reports, itemized receipts, etc.) for policy compliance. Process HCP payments, intercompany invoices and chargebacks.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal customers by offering training, guidance on processes and systems, and timely updates on requests. Respond promptly to inquiries and support effective use of resources.
Ensure smooth team operations by collaborating with colleagues, managing shared resources, and promptly addressing urgent tasks to contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
Identify and implement process improvements while developing and maintaining documents to support operational efficiency.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications Required:
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field (e.g., legal studies, health administration) or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
A minimum of two (2) years of professional experience in contract management, procurement, legal, compliance, or finance roles.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
Proficient in SAP or similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
Exceptional communication skills, with a proven ability to deliver clear, concise, and professional messages.
Attention to detail, with a proven ability to review documents and data for accuracy, ensuring adherence to internal policies and regulatory standards.
Strong team player with a demonstrated ability to cultivate a collaborative and supportive work environment, actively engaging in teamwork, problem‑solving, and driving success through shared goals and cooperation.
Preferred:
Industry experience in MedTech, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or life sciences is preferred.
