About the Role We're looking for a
Key Account IT Solutions Specialist
who is passionate about customer experience, energized by complex global supply chain operations, and excited to blend logistics expertise with technology-driven solutions. In this role, you'll help shape operational excellence and enhance system capabilities for our most strategic customers within Matson Logistics Supply Chain (MLSC).
What you'll do: As a
Key Account IT Solutions Specialist , you'll serve as a trusted partner for our customers, ensuring seamless operational performance while helping drive innovation across our systems, tools, and processes.
Customer & Stakeholder Support
Serve as the primary customer contact, responding quickly to inquiries and resolving operational issues with urgency and professionalism.
Partner with global origin offices/agents to troubleshoot challenges and elevate service performance.
Liaise with internal teams on accounting topics including A/R, A/P, and profit‑share reconciliation.
Operational Execution & Process Improvement
Review internal workflows and procedures regularly to recommend and implement process improvements.
Identify and resolve inefficiencies at origin or destination to reduce operational costs and improve service quality.
Maintain and update Operations SOPs; oversee daily booking approvals and exceptions.
Technology, Systems & Analytics
Support customer use of PO management tools including Log‑Net and the MLSC Portal, addressing system questions and ensuring optimal usage.
Analyze PO, booking, and shipment data to ensure smooth system performance and recommend process or system enhancements.
Collaborate with the IT Solutions team to influence system development and workflow optimization.
Produce dashboards, reports, and analytics leveraging AI, Power BI, Tableau, and Copilot to support customer and internal initiatives.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Coordinate with international back‑office operations to ensure tools and systems are used effectively and efficiently.
Provide customer reporting support and assist in defining requirements for enhanced data visibility.
Commercial Partnership
Assist in commercial activities including sales lead generation, customer presentations, conference participation, and networking.
Act as a professional representative of Matson Logistics during industry events and customer engagements.

Deliver an exceptional customer experience through proactive communication and responsive operational support.
Strengthen Matson Logistics' technology offerings by identifying system opportunities and partnering on enhancements.
Increase operational efficiency and reduce cost‑to‑serve through data‑driven decision‑making and SOP optimization.
Influence continuous improvement across MLSC by connecting customer needs with system capability and operational workflow.
Support the growth of our Supply Chain Management and NVOCC programs through high‑quality service delivery and collaboration.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required with a concentration in Supply Chain Logistics, Information Systems, and/or Data Analytics. Alternatively, at least 3 to 5 years professional experience working in Supply Chain Logistics, Information Systems, and/or Data Analytics.
Strong PC/system literacy, including proficiency with MS Office, Power BI, Tableau, SAP Business Objects, and AI‑driven tools.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage professionally in high‑pressure situations.
Strong problem‑solving abilities‑able to diagnose issues, analyze data, propose solutions, and adapt quickly.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across internal teams, vendors, suppliers, and customers.
Comfort working in fast‑paced environments and adjusting to evolving business needs.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.

The annual salary range is posted for this position in New Jersey. The salary offered will depend upon qualifications and other operational considerations.
