Description This recruitment has been extended to increase the candidate pool. Department : Department of Revenue – Property Tax division, Utility Valuation team. This position is for an Appraiser. The successful candidate will appraise and apportion property in the airline, electric, gas, pipeline, railroad, or telecommunications industries. The candidate should have experience as a licensed Certified General Appraiser, a County Assessor’s employee, or as a commercial real estate analyst; those with experience in the regulation of public utilities may also find this position stimulating. The position offers remote work flexibility with duty station in Tumwater or Tacoma; occasional in-office meetings, training, or operational needs may require in-person presence. Some out-of-state travel and attendance at training/conferences may be required.
