Job Description
The State of Arizona (AZDES – DTS) is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support enterprise IT initiatives. The ideal candidate will work closely with business and technical teams to gather requirements, improve processes, and support system enhancements in an Agile environment. Key Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements Translate business needs into functional and system specifications Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams Perform gap analysis and identify process improvement opportunities Support configuration and testing of workflows, objects, and reports Assist with project coordination, enhancements, and change management Develop process flows, documentation, and data mapping Conduct user training and support Agile delivery teams Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst Strong experience in requirements gathering and documentation Hands‑on experience with Agile methodologies (SCRUM / SAFe) Experience working with tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps Excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills Preferred Skills
Salesforce and/or ServiceNow experience Microsoft Azure exposure AI / OpenAI experience Business process improvement and workflow configuration Experience in public‑sector or government environments Important Notes
