Pricing Analyst
Role Overview Finastra is seeking a Pricing Analyst who will support the development of pricing analytics, reporting, and performance measurement as part of our newly established Pricing organization. Reporting to the Senior Director, Pricing, this role provides analytical support across Sales Operations, Product, and Commercial Finance, contributing to pricing insights and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities Pricing Analytics & Reporting
Develop and maintain pricing KPIs, dashboards, and reporting to support visibility into discounting, price realization, and deal performance.
Conduct core pricing analyses to understand trends, margin drivers, and pricing execution gaps.
Support annual price reviews and list‑price updates through data gathering, analysis, and preparation of summary materials.
Build and refine pricing models and tools to support Commercial Finance, Product, and Sales teams.
Assist in driving improvements to pricing processes, data quality, and analytical frameworks as the Pricing function grows.
Cross-Functional Support
Collaborate with Sales Operations, Product, and Finance to deliver data-driven insights that support pricing decisions.
Assist in evaluating deal structures, discounting patterns, and customer segmentation strategies.
Summarize analytical findings into clear, concise formats for business stakeholders.
Experience & Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in pricing analytics, financial analysis, data analytics, or related quantitative roles.
Strong analytical skills with experience in Excel, BI tools (Power BI, Tableau), and financial modeling.
Ability to translate data into insights and communicate effectively with non‑technical audiences.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Analytics, or a related field.
Experience in SaaS, software, or financial services/FinTech is a plus.
Skills & Competencies
Strong quantitative and analytical problem‑solving skills.
Ability to interpret data accurately and identify key trends.
Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
Interest in developing deeper expertise in pricing and monetization strategy.
