O’Connor Capital Solutions (“OCS”) is a ~$2B AUM private credit platform within O’Connor Alternative Investments, an $8.7B alternatives manager that is a part of Cantor Fitzgerald L.P.

OCS invests across corporate direct lending and asset-based finance with a flexible mandate spanning middle-market companies, venture-backed businesses, and financial/hard asset-backed opportunities.

Deal teams are intentionally lean — typically two to three investment professionals — ensuring meaningful responsibility, independent thinking, and direct exposure to senior decision-makers.

We seek intellectually rigorous, entrepreneurial investors who want to develop into true credit principals.

The Role We are hiring junior investment professionals to join our team.

You will play a central role in evaluating, structuring, executing, and managing investments. This is not a siloed modeling role — you will be expected to form independent credit opinions and defend them in investment committee discussions.

We are seeking candidates with strong technical capabilities and experience in asset-backed finance, securitization, or structured credit.

Experience in specialty finance or asset-backed lending Securitization-style cash flow modeling experience Understanding of structural features (waterfalls, triggers, credit enhancement) Experience evaluating collateral performance and legal structures

You will underwrite opportunities across financial assets and hard assets and may also work on esoteric or bespoke structured credit transactions.

Core Responsibilities Evaluate new investment opportunities from initial screening through closing Conduct detailed financial analysis and build bespoke underwriting models Draft investment committee materials and present findings Engage directly with company management teams, owners/sponsors, and financing partners Assist in the review of credit agreements and legal documentation Monitor portfolio companies and asset pools post-closing Assist with and maintain investment reporting to various internal and external stakeholders

You will work closely with senior investment professionals and gain direct exposure to investment decision-making.

Qualifications 2–4 years of relevant experience in private credit, investment banking, structured finance, leveraged finance, or restructuring Advanced financial modeling capability Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to operate with precision and attention to detail Intellectual curiosity and desire to form independent views Comfort operating in a high-accountability, performance-oriented environment
