The NICET Level III Fire Sprinkler Designer is responsible for the design, coordination, and support of fire sprinkler systems in compliance with NFPA standards, AHJ requirements, and project specifications. This position is primarily remote, with occasional travel to job sites as required for coordination and field support. Key Responsibilities

Design fire sprinkler systems in accordance with

NFPA 13, NFPA 13R , and applicable local codes Prepare shop drawings, layout plans, hydraulic calculations, and material take-offs Review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings for coordination Coordinate designs with project managers, engineers, field teams, and AHJs Address plan review comments and revise drawings as needed Support permit submittals and approvals Provide field support and resolve design-related issues during construction Maintain accurate design documentation and project records Ensure all designs meet company quality and safety standards Qualifications

NICET Level III Certification in Fire Sprinkler Systems (required) Minimum

5+ years

of fire sprinkler design experience Strong knowledge of NFPA codes and AHJ requirements Proficiency in

AutoCAD

(Revit experience is a plus) Experience with hydraulic calculation software (HydraCALC, HASS, SprinkCAD, or similar) Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a remote work environment Strong communication and coordination skills Preferred Qualifications
