Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and customer‑focused
Leasing Consultant
to join our team at our 245‑unit apartment community in Bellflower, CA. The ideal candidate is energetic, professional, sales‑driven, and passionate about delivering exceptional resident experiences.
As a Leasing Consultant, you will be responsible for showcasing our community to prospective residents, achieving leasing goals, providing outstanding customer service, and supporting marketing efforts. You will work closely with the property management team to ensure occupancy and revenue objectives are met.
Key Responsibilities Leasing & Sales
Conduct personalized tours and present apartment homes and amenities to prospective residents
Respond promptly to all phone, email, internet, and walk‑in inquiries
Actively market and promote the community to achieve leasing goals
Follow up consistently with prospects to convert leads into leases
Shop competing communities to evaluate pricing, presentation, and sales strategies
Administrative & Systems
Accurately track all traffic, rentals, and cancellations in Yardi and Lead Tracking Solutions
Complete lease paperwork and associated addendums in compliance with company policies
Schedule and conduct lease signings and move‑in appointments
Maintain and manage an accurate priority waitlist
Ensure weekly close‑out procedures in Yardi are completed
Marketing
Write and post Craigslist ads daily
Support ongoing marketing initiatives to drive traffic and occupancy
Customer Service
Deliver exceptional service in alignment with company standards
Address resident concerns professionally and elevate when appropriate
Conduct move‑in walk‑throughs with new residents
Maintain consistent communication with prospects and residents
Property Presentation
Inspect model units and market‑ready apartments daily to ensure presentation standards are met
Maintain a professional and welcoming leasing office environment
Open and secure the leasing office and model units daily
Qualifications Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year of sales and/or customer service experience (property management, hospitality, retail, or real estate preferred)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent time management and organizational abilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to work weekends (Saturday & Sunday required)
Preferred

Yardi experience
Lead Tracking Solutions experience
Work Schedule
Typically scheduled 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Weekend availability required
Schedule may vary based on property needs

Physical Requirements
