Position Summary The Residential Construction Superintendent is responsible for leading field operations across custom home projects from mobilization through completion. This role ensures projects are executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to Luedeker Homes' quality standards while delivering a professional and positive experience for homeowners and trade partners.

Key Outcomes & Responsibilities Project Execution
Lead all on-site construction activities from groundbreaking through final completion
Ensure projects are delivered on schedule and aligned with approved budgets and specifications
Coordinate labor, materials, subcontractors, and inspections to maintain project flow
Monitor progress and proactively identify risks or delays
Quality & Craftsmanship
Interpret and enforce construction documents, drawings, and finish standards
Conduct regular quality inspections and address deficiencies promptly
Maintain high standards of workmanship consistent with Luedeker Homes' reputation
Client & Stakeholder Experience
Serve as the primary on-site representative for homeowners, architects, and designers
Maintain professional, proactive communication throughout the project lifecycle
Foster trust through transparency, responsiveness, and accountability
Financial Stewardship
Track project costs and support accurate billing and financial reporting
Assist in managing change orders and cost controls
Safety & Compliance
Enforce jobsite safety standards and ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations
Promote a culture of safety, respect, and professionalism
Qualifications & Experience
3-5+ years of experience as a Superintendent or similar leadership role in residential construction
Experience in custom or high-end residential construction strongly preferred
Strong understanding of construction sequencing, building methods, and custom finishes
Ability to read and interpret complex construction documents and plans
Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore)
Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Proven ability to build strong relationships with clients, trade partners, and internal teams
