Sales Engineer
for a direct hire opportunity with one of our clients located in
Menomonee Falls, WI .
About Our Client
Well-established precision machining manufacturer serving OEM and industrial customers across North America
Internal promotion opportunity - strong growth and stability
Collaborative environment partnering closely with engineering and production teams
Key Objectives / Role Responsibilities
Call on engineers, purchasing teams, and OEM stakeholders to generate new business
Manage and grow existing accounts (hunter + farmer hybrid role)
Review technical drawings to prepare accurate cost estimates
Explain machining capabilities, cost drivers, and manufacturability constraints
Coordinate with engineering, production, and purchasing to align customer needs
Prepare quotes, pricing packages, and delivery timelines
Travel approximately 25–30%, including occasional Canada and Mexico travel
Maintain CRM records and attend trade shows
Desired Skills & Qualifications
Machine shop background (operator, machinist, programmer, estimator, or technical sales)
Ability to read and interpret technical part drawings
Working knowledge of CNC and screw machining operations
Strong communication and presentation skills
Self‑directed and detail‑oriented
Valid Class D driver’s license
Sales experience within machining/manufacturing preferred
Salary Information
$80k - $90k base/year
