About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its mission of translating proven voter engagement tactics into standard practice, with a focus on driving their adoption and real-world use. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping the organization's influence on the broader civic engagement ecosystem, leading fundraising efforts, and ensuring the financial and organizational health of the organization. This role is not for a caretaker; it is a builder's job that requires a leader who can move from pilot projects to repeatable adoption, and from enthusiasm to institutional behavior change. The Executive Director will be at the forefront of the challenge, working to build the systems, incentives, partnerships, and narratives necessary to make good ideas widely used and effective.

Candidates for the Executive Director position should have a strong background in leadership, with a proven track record of managing people, budgets, and organizational priorities. Experience in fundraising, particularly with high net worth individuals, and a deep understanding of the progressive political, civic engagement, or advocacy ecosystem are essential. The role demands a strategic thinker who can balance experimentation with focus, and who is comfortable operating in ambiguity. The ideal candidate will have a history of working in political, advocacy, or mission-driven organizations, and will be adept at turning smart ideas into practical, widely adopted solutions. The Company is committed to equity and encourages individuals from diverse backgrounds to apply.
