We are seeking a Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations at our construction sites. Responsibilities include coordinating on-site activities, ensuring safety compliance, managing project timelines and budgets, and maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Greenwood, IN. Qualifications
Minimum 5-10 years construction experience working as a Field Superintendent. Strong Project Management and Budgeting skills, with the ability to monitor resources and timelines Excellent Organization Skills, with the ability to multitask and manage construction schedules effectively Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and standards Strong communication and leadership skills to coordinate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders Proficiency in Procore construction management software is a plus Prior experience in educational or commercial construction projects is advantageous Knowledge of reading project plans and specifications Manages difficult customer situations, responds promptly to customer needs, responds to requests for service and assistance, and meets commitments Current First Aid/CPR OSHA 30 hrs. certification Intermediate level in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and Outlook) Experience managing schedules and working with Microsoft Project is a plus Leadership and motivational skills Reliability, honesty, integrity, timely Construction related degree or equivalent job experience Duties
Manages daily site operations of commercial construction project Assists project Managers in formulation construction schedule and maintaining construction schedule throughout the project from start to finish Supervises employees, subcontractors and vendors to ensure both quality control and project compliance Schedules and directs all inspections with city officials, government agencies and private agencies as required . Resolves problems as they arise regarding plans or specifications, conflicts with the architect, engineer, clients and subcontractors and documentation of all corrections, changes and requests Daily documentation in Procore: Daily logs, photos, timesheets, RFI’s and inspections Schedules all trades and material deliveries daily Performs safety management responsibilities, orientations, quarterly meetings, OSHA Standards, Program Components. This includes planning, communication, monitoring, enforcement and documentation Tracks, maintains and secures company owned tools, and rental equipment
