Onsite Position
Your Responsibilities As an Employee Relations Representative for John Deere Turf Care located in Fuquay Varina, NC you will act as a strategic thought partner, consultant and advisor to business leaders and provide employee relations support to the production staff and HR support to the salaried staff in the organization. In addition, you will:
Support a number of Human Resource processes/procedures in areas such as employee relations, compensation and benefits, staffing, training and development, legal compliance and employee communications
Act as an advocate for employees as needed, including daily interaction
Support operations in staffing and workforce planning activities such as establishing job requirements, candidate selection, interviewing and onboarding
Conduct/coordinate delivery of training courses utilizing both internal and external resources

What Skills You Need
3 or more years’ experience coaching/counseling others on HR topics or other confidential matters
3 or more years’ experience in providing expertise in employee relation issues including support, consultation and guidance on performance and disciplinary issues
3 or more years of experience in Employee Relations, Labor Relations, Human Resources or Operations
High level of personal integrity and the ability to professionally handle confidential matters
Ability to drive results amidst competing priorities
Attention to detail and analytically driven
Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate and work with various levels of leadership
Ability to operate as an inclusive employee, be aware of, and embrace diversity of thought, cultural differences and act as the voice of employees
What Makes You Standout
3 or more years’ experience managing conflict and resolving employee issues
3 or more years’ experience interpreting and implementing policies, guidelines and company procedures
3 or more years’ experience communicating effectively with stakeholders to influence without authority
Knowledge and experience using SAP, Talent Central and Time America
HR Certifications
Education Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
Bachelors degree in Human Resources or Labor Relations
