Trade Show Manager
is responsible for the overall operations of the trade show at World Dairy Expo, known globally as the world’s largest dairy-exclusive trade show. This position works with more than 600 companies year-round and is responsible for all communications with stakeholders related to the trade show, including logistics, marketing, and all promotions. Additionally, the

works closely with the Commercial Exhibitor Committee and its chairperson.
World Dairy Expo, having hosted its 58th event in October 2025, is an iconic annual event that draws 55,000 attendees from nearly 90 countries to Madison, Wisconsin for dairy cattle competition, a dairy-focused trade show, and educational programing designed for dairy producers. Trade Show Manager
plays a key role in executing.
Essential Responsibilities
Provide industry-leading customer service to current and potential trade show exhibitors
Identify and cultivate new trade show exhibitor relationships
Communication with current and potential trade show exhibitors about deadlines, rules, collection of fees, keys to a successful trade show experience and more
Oversee the booth contract process, including selection, distribution, collection of fees and renewals
Show floor layout, design, management, and rules enforcement
Develop annual budget and ensure compliance
Main point of contact for temporary structure vendor and other event vendors responsible for ordering, planning, building and take down at event grounds
Organization of materials due from each commercial exhibitor, including Certificate of Insurance, Department of Revenue forms and more
Work with U.S. Commercial Services to offer additional business opportunities to trade show exhibitors
Compile and share post-event trade show information to exhibitors
Work closely with the Commercial Exhibitor Committee and other World Dairy Expo staff
Occasional Duties
Post-event evaluation to identify and recommend enhancements
Other duties as assigned
Educational Requirements Bachelor's Degree in dairy, agriculture or related field required. Three to five years of experience preferred.
Physical Requirements Ability to sit, use a keyboard, and view a computer monitor for extended periods, lift and carry up to 50 pounds, walk significant distances, climb stairs, and work extended hours to meet business needs.
Position Requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills
Strong work ethic with the ability to multitask and re-prioritize as needed
Self-motivated with good organization, planning, project management, and coordination skills
Capable of working independently and as part of a team depending on the task
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suites. Sage Accounting Software and Personify experience helpful but not required.
Understanding of various digital programs used by World Dairy Expo
Dairy industry and/or agriculture knowledge preferred.

Full-time, exempt with robust benefits package
Flexible Hybrid Schedule:
Work from our World Dairy Expo Madison, WI office 3 days/week and up to 2 days/week remote. Must be in the office 5 days/week from September 1 – October 15 for show preparations.
