POSITION OVERVIEW ·The Common Good is seeking a creative, detail‑oriented Marketing Coordinator (Contract) to support our growing communications and marketing efforts. This role will play a key part in strengthening our digital presence, promoting programs and events, and supporting overall brand consistency for a fast‑growing nonprofit serving the Northwest Tulsa community.

based on organizational needs, performance, and funding.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage day‑to‑day activity for active Facebook and Instagram accounts
Create, schedule, and publish engaging content aligned with organizational goals
Support community engagement by monitoring comments and messages
Maintain a content calendar in coordination with staff
GRAPHIC DESIGN & CONTENT CREATION
Design graphics for social media, email campaigns, events, and promotions in Canva Pro
Ensure visual consistency with organizational branding
Support marketing needs for programs, fundraising, and community events
WEBSITE MANAGEMENT
Update and refresh website content as needed in WIX
Support website redesign and layout improvements
Note: Website redesign is a project we’d like to accomplish during this contract!
Collaborate with staff to ensure content is accurate, current, and engaging
COLLABORATION & REPORTING
Work closely with the Director of Communications & Engagement and other staff
Provide regular progress updates and meet agreed‑upon deadlines
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
2+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or related field (nonprofit experience a plus)
Demonstrated experience creating graphics for digital platforms
Experience managing social media accounts for an organization or brand
Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp)
Strong written communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
PREFERRED SKILLS
Canva Pro for design and Wix for website management
Social media scheduling tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite)
Basic understanding of analytics and performance tracking
Passion for mission‑driven work and community impact
CONTRACT TERMS
15‑week contract at 15–20 hours per week
Hourly rate: $19–$26, based on experience and skill set
Flexible schedule within agreed‑upon deadlines
Potential for contract extension based on performance and organizational needs
