What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Drive the strategy for the Private Fundraising Communications team in alignment with organizational goals
Oversee the development of compelling fundraising content for private sector partners
Lead and refine the writing and production processes for fundraising materials
Provide editorial oversight and ensure adherence to branding and quality standards
Manage a team of philanthropic communications professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation
What is Required (Qualifications):
7-8 years of editorial experience, preferably in a leadership role within a nonprofit or media environment
Proven experience in crafting proposals for high-net-worth donors, foundations, and corporations
Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills
Strong project management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
Leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to mentor and develop a team
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Experience working with diverse stakeholders across cultures
Familiarity with fundraising strategies and donor engagement techniques
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams
Ability to translate complex ideas into clear, impactful messages
