Role Overview Our client, a large national financial services organization, is seeking a Learning Content Designer to support their Branch & Café Learning Team. This team develops learning solutions that support over 60+ branches and cafés nationwide.

This is a hands-on, back-end design and development role focused on updating existing curricula, modernizing content, and supporting branding and learning standard enhancements. There is no facilitation or classroom teaching — this role is fully focused on design and development.

The team is highly collaborative (approximately 10 designers) and operates out of Richmond to maintain close partnership, peer reviews, and consistent workload alignment.

Key Responsibilities

Update and enhance existing learning curriculum and training materials.

Execute branding and content modernization updates across facilitator guides and eLearning assets.

Design and revise eLearning modules using

Articulate Storyline (most critical)

and

Articulate Rise .

Identify and connect content updates to correct source files and documentation.

Support development of a new part-time program alongside an existing lead designer, stepping in to assist with development as timelines require.

Partner cross-functionally to ensure learning content is clear, visually engaging, and aligned with adult learning best practices.

Participate in weekly team collaboration and peer review sessions.

Required Skills & Experience

2–3+ years of hands-on eLearning design and development experience.

Strong proficiency in

Articulate Storyline (most important) .

Experience with

Articulate Rise (second priority) .

Working knowledge of

Adobe Creative Suite .

Strong proficiency in

Google Suite (required), particularly Google Sheets .

Experience updating facilitator guides and structured learning documentation.

Strong technical writing skills.

Solid understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design best practices.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience simplifying complex content into engaging learning experiences.

Familiarity with enterprise learning environments is a plus.
