Job Description NBCUniversal is a world‑leading media and entertainment company that develops, produces, and distributes content across film, television, streaming, and theme parks. Universal Television Entertainment (UTE) is responsible for world‑class television programming. UTE programs and markets content across leading brands, including Bravo and Peacock, and produces over 3,000 hours of television annually. The division aligns NBCUniversal’s content and production expertise to inspire global audiences.

The Communications Coordinator will support the UTE Unscripted Communications department (Bravo and Peacock Unscripted) with administrative and operational responsibilities. This position reports to the SVP, Communications.

Responsibilities

Perform administrative and department support tasks such as phone coverage, calendar management, creating and disseminating TV highlights and listings, reconciling invoices, coordinating screeners/mailings, filing creative briefs, maintaining editorial calendars, creating tune‑in alerts, coordinating high‑profile executive meetings, updating press lists, booking travel, and other assignments as required.

Collaborate with east‑coast coordinators to compile the daily clip packet, distribute press materials to key executives, keep the team apprised of breaking news, and monitor social media for network and series coverage.

Manage, hire, and train staff interns each quarter.

Assist with booking talent travel, creating schedules, and coordinating on‑site coverage.

Support press junkets, print interviews, set visits, photo shoots, and related events.

Collect and write monthly listing highlights and manage dissemination of photos, electronic clips, and press releases.

Work with the awards team to ensure all deadlines and materials are properly submitted.

Assist in creating show press materials and programming releases.

Develop positive relationships with press, talent, representatives, producers, production staff, and programming executives to maximize coverage and mitigate crises.

Oversee the team’s finances, including maintaining show budgets, reconciling invoices, tracking spending, and registering vendors.

Qualifications Basic Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Communications, Public Relations, or Journalism.

1+ years of experience in media, entertainment, or television publicity.

1+ years of experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Additional Requirements:

Hybrid:

This position is designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The company reserves the right to change in‑office requirements at any time.

This position is eligible for company‑sponsored benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of discounts and perks. Salary range: $50,000 – $60,000.
