Overview We are seeking a creative, organized, and detail-oriented
Instructional Designer
to support colleagues transitioning into a larger organization following an acquisition. This role focuses on designing engaging learning experiences and producing high-quality training materials that help employees adopt new systems, processes, and workflows.
This individual will play a critical role in supporting enterprise integration by translating complex information into clear, learner-friendly formats. The ideal candidate brings strong instructional design expertise, visual communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
This is a highly visible role working closely with L&D leadership, Payments stakeholders, subject matter experts, HR, and enterprise integration teams.
Key Responsibilities Instructional Design & Content Development
Design and develop learning materials supporting acquisition integration and onboarding
Create training content including slide decks, job aids, quick reference guides, and process documentation
Translate complex systems, workflows, and operational changes into clear learning content
Apply instructional design best practices and adult learning principles
Develop visually polished materials aligned with enterprise branding standards
Create diagrams, templates, and visual aids to support learning objectives
Ensure content clarity, consistency, and effectiveness across learning programs
Support development of e-learning content using modern design tools
Stakeholder Collaboration & Content Validation
Partner with subject matter experts and business stakeholders to gather and validate content
Facilitate review cycles and incorporate feedback into learning materials
Support newly acquired colleagues by developing onboarding and transition resources
Ensure training materials align with integration timelines and readiness goals
Training Support & Project Coordination
Develop facilitator guides, scripts, and supporting documentation
Coordinate training logistics and ensure learning materials are accessible and organized
Maintain organized repositories of training assets and documentation
Monitor learning effectiveness through feedback, surveys, and performance indicators
Required Qualifications
3–5+ years of experience in Instructional Design, Learning & Development, or Curriculum Development
Strong experience developing training materials, job aids, and learning content
Strong understanding of adult learning theory and instructional design frameworks
Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft 365, and LMS or e-learning tools
Experience with tools such as Storyline, Rise, Canva, Adobe Express, or similar platforms
Excellent written, visual, and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple workstreams in fast-paced, changing environments
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting M&A integration, enterprise onboarding, or organizational transitions
Experience supporting banking, financial services, or enterprise environments
Strong visual design and content structuring capabilities
Ability to simplify complex operational processes into effective learning content
Strong attention to detail and collaborative mindset
