
Role Overview
The Video Producer is responsible for producing high-quality video content that supports the club’s brand, football storytelling, and business objectives across all platforms. This role leads projects from concept through delivery, ensuring creative direction is executed with clarity, efficiency, and consistency.
Working under the guidance of the Video Production Manager, the Video Producer collaborates with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to develop compelling video content for owned channels, match-week storytelling, campaigns, and partnership activations. This position plays a critical role in maintaining production standards while adapting to the fast-paced demands of a professional football environment.

Core Responsibilities Video Production & Execution
Produce video content across digital, social, in-stadium, and partnership platforms
Lead projects from pre-production through post-production, including concepting, scripting, planning, shooting, and editing oversight
Capture high-quality footage during matches, training sessions, events, and club initiatives
Ensure all video content aligns with established creative direction, brand standards, and storytelling priorities
Football & Match-Week Storytelling
Support match-week content needs, including hype pieces, recaps, features, and real-time storytelling
Coordinate with the Video Production Manager to plan and execute coverage for home and away matches
Adapt production plans to meet league and competition regulations while maintaining creative standards
Partner with Editorial, Design, and Social teams to ensure cohesive storytelling across mediums
Collaborate with Partnerships and Marketing to deliver sponsor-integrated content while maintaining authenticity
Translate creative briefs into executable production plans and deliverables Project & Process Management
Develop production timelines, shot lists, and content plans aligned with campaign and match-week priorities
Coordinate equipment, logistics, and production resources to ensure smooth execution
Manage post-production workflows, including file organization, delivery standards, and archiving practices
Maintain organized media libraries and adhere to naming conventions and distribution protocols
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with cross-functional teams across the club to support video production needs
Coordinate with internal production staff and Communications for access, scheduling, and player availability
Support in-stadium and special event production requirements as needed Team Development
Contribute to a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing video team culture
Provide feedback and creative input during content reviews and planning discussions
Stay current with production trends, storytelling techniques, and platform best practices
Support freelance crew members and contractors during larger productions as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS Candidates can meet the qualifications for this role with a combination of education, experience and skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Video Production, Film, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
3-5 years of professional experience producing and editing video content, preferably with an agency, brand, or sports team/league environment.
Strong storytelling skills and a portfolio that demonstrates a range of production and editing styles.
Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, working knowledge of After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator is a plus.
Experience operating professional video equipment.
Understanding of different content needs across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, and more.
Strong knowledge of the football/soccer community at every level.
