This position develops, implements, and evaluates communications and outreach materials, web and social media content to ensure payees and payers of child support, employers, legislators, and other government officials, as well as the public, receive accurate, timely, and consistent information regarding Wisconsin’s Child Support Program. The starting salary ranges from $21.00 to $27.93 per hour ($43,680 to $58,094 annually), depending on qualifications. Pay for current State of WI employees will follow the compensation plan in effect at the time of appointment. Current state employees transferring will be paid under the transfer rules (higher level duties or equity) as outlined in the prevailing compensation plan. Pay schedule: 07‑05. Minimally Qualifying Applicants
Experience developing and/or implementing strategic communications plans (e.g., outreach and awareness, focused initiatives, marketing). Experience working with at least three of the following programs: SharePoint, Microsoft Partner Net, website(s), Outlook, Adobe, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and/or Facebook/social media. Experience creating and/or developing written communications materials (reviewing and editing documents, brochures, publications, manuals, informational pieces, forms, PowerPoints, etc.) for dissemination. Education, training, or commensurate professional experience in English grammar, literature, or journalism. Experience designing and creating visually appealing graphics and products (infographics, reports, one‑pagers, graphics for social media, etc.) for a diverse audience.
