Role Summary

The Senior Marketing Manager at Servier Pharmaceuticals will support the development of marketing strategy and lead implementation of key tactics to support the US business.

The brand marketer will be supporting our targeted IDH hematology brand with the potential to work on exciting new indication expansions soon. This role reports to the Director of Marketing, Oncology.

Primary Responsibilities

Support development of the strategic plan for the US market for the IDH hematology portfolio to achieve rapid product uptake and meet or exceed organizational objectives

Develop and execute tactical plans that pull through brand strategy, to ensure rapid product uptake and meet or exceed expected financial return

Consistently manage multiple projects to deliver high-quality work product in a timely fashion

Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing programs and recommend changes in strategy or tactics as appropriate

Effectively track and manage marketing budget for areas of responsibility

Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Patient Advocacy, Market Access, Sales, and Medical, to ensure alignment, advance the business, and exceed business targets through implementation of brand strategy and tactics

Collaborate with Legal, Regulatory, and Compliance stakeholders to ensure development and execution of compliant marketing initiatives

Communicate and collaborate with Sales Leadership and the Sales Force to implement brand strategies and maintain adherence to appropriate regulatory and Pharma guidelines

Apply innovative new technologies and solutions and apply market research, consulting, and other customer insights to inform decisions

Job Description Candidate Profile Education and Required Skills

Bachelor of Science or Arts (or equivalent work experience), MBA preferred, with 5 years of commercial experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or other specialty healthcare industry, including 2 years in marketing

Demonstrated ability to support development of marketing strategies and lead execution of key tactics to drive adoption and growth of inline products in US specialty or biotech market; experience with hematology, oncology, or rare disease products strongly preferred

Experience with various components of marketing mix (ie, promotional approaches)—particularly HCP promotion and field‑facing materials—and with prioritizing resources to most effective areas to drive results

Strong project management skills with ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities, external agencies and vendors, and promotional budgets

Strong understanding of legal and regulatory environment in pharmaceutical promotion, pharma industry guidelines, and other compliance‑related issues

Ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally to implement sales or marketing programs with measurable business impact in a heavily matrixed, fast‑paced environment

Ability to clearly communicate at all levels of the organization as well as with external audiences

Travel and Location

Boston, MA-based preferred; hybrid/remote considered

Up to 25% travel required

Salary Range

The salary range for this role is $147-$170k. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. Employees in this position are also eligible for Short-Term and Long-Term incentive programs.
