Graphic & Multimedia Designer
to play a key role in shaping how our work, programs, and community impact are seen and experienced. In this role, you’ll help elevate our brand presence across multiple organizations while contributing to campaigns that support real transformation in Wilmington’s Riverside community.

What You’ll Do As the Graphic & Multimedia Designer, you will be responsible for shaping and elevating The WRK Group’s visual identity across print, digital, and social platforms through high-quality graphic design, photography, videography, and multimedia production. This creative and strategic role brings the organization’s mission to life by developing compelling visual storytelling from concept through final delivery, while working across REACH Riverside, Kingswood Community Center, and The Warehouse. The ideal candidate is highly organized, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously, and skilled at producing polished, brand-aligned content that drives engagement and community impact.
Key Responsibilities
Design digital and print materials, including social media graphics, flyers, reports, presentations, signage, and branded merchandise.
Contribute visual concepts and creative direction for campaigns, initiatives, and storytelling efforts.
Translate program impact and organizational priorities into engaging, audience-centered design.
Collaborate with marketing and communications staff through concepting, feedback, and iteration cycles.
Maintain and evolve brand guidelines to ensure consistency across REACH Riverside, Kingswood Community Center, and The Warehouse.
Create digital assets optimized for web, email, and social platforms, including infographics, motion graphics, GIFs, and short-form video content.
Support video editing for campaigns, events, and storytelling initiatives.
Design materials for events such as invitations, signage, programs, digital ads, and photo or video backdrops.
Manage and organize design files, templates, and brand assets for easy access and efficiency.
Coordinate print production, including proofing, vendor communication, and quality control.
Support occasional photography, videography, or content capture during events and activations.
Leverage emerging design technologies and AI-assisted tools to enhance workflows and experiment with new creative formats.
What We’re Looking For Education and Experience
Required: Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Digital Media, Visual Communications, or a related field; minimum 3 years of professional design experience.
Preferred: 4–6 years of experience, including work in both nonprofit and B2B/agency settings.
Strong experience with motion graphics, video editing, social or digital storytelling, and/or animation is highly desirable.
Working knowledge of DSLR or mirrorless cameras and basic photo/video capture techniques is a plus.
Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects), Canva, and Google Workspace.
Familiarity with AI-assisted design tools and emerging creative platforms is a plus.
Skills and Abilities
Strong visual design skills with the ability to balance creativity and strategic objectives.
Ability to manage multiple projects across different brands while meeting tight deadlines.
Excellent collaboration skills and openness to feedback.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
Curiosity and adaptability in learning new tools, platforms, and design technologies.

Supervisory Responsibility This position does not have supervisory responsibility.
Work Environment And Requirements Schedule:
Full-Time, Exempt. Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM. Occasional evenings or weekends may be required based on deadlines or audit needs.
Travel:
Primarily local during the business day, with some out-of-area or overnight travel as needed.
Physical Demands:
Ability to sit for extended periods, use technology, and move about to facilitate workshops or meetings.
