Visual Designer

to join our Strategic Marketing Solutions team. This role offers the opportunity to shape how audiences experience exhibitions, programs, and museum initiatives through compelling visual storytelling across print, digital, and environmental platforms.

About The Role The Visual Designer creates high‑quality visual assets that support exhibitions, marketing campaigns, institutional communications, and guest engagement initiatives. Working closely with internal partners across Marketing, Curatorial, Education, Development, and other teams, this role delivers polished, on‑brand design solutions that enhance how the Museum connects with audiences.

This position reports to the Senior Visual Designer and collaborates as part of a creative team dedicated to excellence in design and storytelling.

What You’ll Do

Develop visual assets for digital, print, and environmental applications in alignment with established brand standards

Translate project goals into thoughtful, audience‑centered design solutions

Prepare production‑ready files and ensure technical accuracy across deliverables

Coordinate with external vendors and fabricators as needed

Manage assigned design projects, timelines, and deliverables with professionalism and accountability

Contribute creative ideas that strengthen workflows and elevate design quality

What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communication, or related field

2–4 years of professional design experience

Strong portfolio demonstrating layout, typography, and visual storytelling expertise

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and standard design tools

Experience producing both digital and print materials

Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
