Inside
Sales Support
is an enthusiastic connector between our outside sales team and our customers. The Inside Sales Representative will effectively communicate product features, benefits, and pricing to potential customers. They will understand our products and culture and ensure customer orders are processed accurately. Primary objectives are to support our customers’ needs to a “best in class” level.
Duties/Responsibilities
Support the daily sales operations of a building materials distribution center.
Work with customers and co-workers to build solid relationships based on trust and competence.
Able to handle detailed work quickly and correctly.
Support a fast-paced environment with multiple projects going on simultaneously.
Utilize the DMSi software Agility for order entry, purchasing entry, and customer information.
Follow established guidelines, structure, and policies, while working with and for others
Maintain customer pricing records.
Accurate order entry
Follow up on all quotes and handle customer service claims in a timely manner.
Other duties as assigned
Requirements Required Skills/Abilities
Socially focused "How can I help you?" attitude.
Cooperative, easy-going, and agreeable in getting along with others.
Strong communication skills
Team Collaboration
Persuasive teaching style to communicate the company's products and services.
Qualifications
Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Prior inside sales and customer service experience
Minimum of 3 years’ experience with inside sales, customer service, and/or marketing disciplines
Industry experience preferred
Physical Requirements
Work is conducted in an office/field setting with sedentary to moderate physical effort associated with using a computer, copier, etc.
Ability to walk, sit, or stand for extended periods of time
May be required to occasionally lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects up to 25 pounds
