Responsibilities

Manage and develop a sales team to exceed company sales and profit goals

Lead and develop a sales team to achieve sales and profit targets

Conduct sales calls with direct reports to strengthen customer relationships

Analyze business strategies affecting growth and finances

Develop and track sales programs, setting monthly, quarterly, and annual goals

Recruit and continuously train sales team on techniques and market dynamics

Qualifications

Minimum educational requirement: BS/BA in a related discipline

Typically requires 7+ years of experience in a related field

Recent experience in sales management and leadership

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Must have a valid driver\'s license and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in pricing strategy and negotiation with vendors

Proven ability to recruit and develop top sales talent

Certification in a relevant field may be beneficial

Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines
