Primary duties will consist of communicating the team’s strategic initiatives and objectives, oversight of general football office operations, and liaison with athletic department and University administration. Chief of Staff will assure the smooth and efficient operations of daily office activities, providing direction and supervision to staff as necessary. Performs other duties as assigned by the Head Football Coach.**Responsibilities:*** Assist in oversight of general football office operations. Serves as key advisor to the Head Football Coach.* Conducts research and comparative analyses to assist the Head Football Coach. Assists the Head Football Coach in establishing, monitoring and reporting on organizational, departmental and individual goals and objectives.* Assist in implementation of the strategic plan Coordinates and facilitates special projects directly involving or at the direct request of the Head Football Coaches. Liaison with Athletic Department and University Administration on administrative issues including housing, financial aid, NCAA compliance, budget, and academic support.* Provides supervision and direction as necessary. Identify, support in the hiring, and supervise student managers and volunteers.* Ensures that the Head Football Coach is well-informed on issues and priorities. Ensures that all appropriate internal stakeholders are involved in relevant executive planning and decision-making processes. Assists the Head Football Coach in developing the content of agendas for meetings.* Monitors, mediates and resolves strategic issues that arise between competing priorities, constituencies, conflicting project objectives, etc. Follows up on issues, including implementing decisions as needed to resolve open issues, and ensures that appropriate communication occurs.* May perform coaching responsibilities if needed. Performs other duties as assigned.**Required Education and Experience:*** Bachelor's Degree.* Three years of related experience.**Preferred Qualifications:*** Previous experience with a Division 1-FCS Football program preferred.* Knowledge of NCAA rules and Conference regulations.* An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.* Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office Suite to include Word and Excel.* Direct experience and success with the management of an intercollegiate sports program, preferably Football.* Strong written and verbal communication skills along with the ability to relate well with a group of individuals including students, coaches, staff and managers.* Demonstrated experience in the management of the day to day operation of a Football program.* Master’s Degree.**Job Posting Close Date:*** 02/28/2026**Required Attachments:**Please attach all required documents listed belowin the attachment box labeled as either “Resume/CV or Resume/Cover Letter” on the application.
