The Continuous Improvement Lead co‑designs and manages local plant improvement programmes based on strategic plans and implements the Operational Excellence programmes from SIG Group at plant level. The role involves analysing processes throughout the entire chain to identify problems and/or areas for improvement, and then solving, implementing and monitoring sustainable success – not limited to purely technical, factory‑related projects.

Key responsibilities

Cascading the Operations strategy (3‑5 years) to an Operational Excellence annual plan, objectives and KPIs at Plant level in collaboration with the Plant Manager and the Operational Excellence team of SIG Group.

Independently drawing up a detailed project plan with the appropriate actions, scope determination, milestones, RACI, deliverables and resources per programme or project.

In consultation with the Plant Manager and other stakeholders (internal departments), composing project teams.

Setting up and defining KPIs and cascading them across the different organisational levels so that employees can take action based on the KPIs.

Proactively and independently signalling improvement options within the regular production process.

Responsible for designing and setting up local and/or global Lean Six Sigma training programmes and (in)planning for the Operations organisation.

You bring these skills, experience & education

Master or Bachelor qualification (e.g. Technical Business Administration, Industrial Automation).

Ideally Black Belt certified.

At least 3 years of work experience in production/industrial environment as a Continuous Improvement specialist.

Very good command of Excel, PowerBI and Lean Six Sigma methodologies and tools.

Excellent command of the English language in word and writing; Dutch would be a plus.

International travel (maximum 10%)
