Our client is looking for a Senior BA/Data Analyst to join their team in Sparks, MD to help support them on their Clarus project. They are looking for a data analyst to work with both the business and technical team to do data analysis and look at the old legacy system and understand the reports created by the WEBI developers. Client is also currently doing a data migration from Sybase to SAP Universe so any experience that the analyst could have with a data migration project would be helpful (they are using IQ as a database layer). Responsibilities
Collaborate with the business and technical teams to perform data analysis and understand reporting needs. Review legacy systems and reports created by WEBI developers. Assist with data migration projects; experience with data migration from Sybase to SAP Universe is favorable, including familiarity with IQ as a database layer. Qualifications
10 years of experience, including: Gathering requirements from Business Partners and IT Development teams and analyzing to improve and automate current processes and apps, as well as creating specifications Experience doing data validation testing Experience doing data analysis with light SQL querying; ability to look at the system and understand reports Nice to have: experience working on a data migration project or any experience with SAP Additional Information
Contract duration:
12 Months with possible extensions Min. experience required: Experience doing data analysis with light SQL querying; ability to look at the system and understand reports. Nice to have: experience working on a data migration project or any experience with SAP Work Location
