The position is in Annapolis Junction, MD with some remote work.
Primary Responsibilities
Be customer focused and provide excellent customer service at all times.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders on all support activities related to generating and winning opportunities.
Support account managers to respond to RFQs, obtain quotes from appropriate vendor or distributor, maintain and update quotes, and record opportunity registrations.
Maintain defined process documents, catalogs, and CRM systems.
Conduct forecast tracking using sales tools such as Salesforce, Contraqer, etc.; create ordering documents and review for accuracy based upon client requests; and analyze solution requirements.
Basic Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience in sales or customer service.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Some experience with sales tracking systems/CRM software such as Salesforce or Contraqer.
Able to work additional or irregular hours as needed.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong negotiation and closing skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field.
Experience in Inside Sales or tele‑sales.
Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment.
Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
