Our Client, a Japanese Chemical Manufacturer is looking for an Account Manager
Position: Account Manager Location: Detroit Metro area, MI (Home Office) Industry: Chemical Manufacturer Salary: 80-85k Base + Bonus + Benefits Package Responsibilities
Performs all facets of sales activities including customer service of existing accounts, sales presentations, sample development, order solicitation, production scheduling, and after sale follow up.
Communicates with customers’ Purchasing, Quality Control, R&D, Design, and Logistics -people as well as the DNP Tokyo office to provide effective products/services.
Develops sales strategies to market products.
Researches new industry, prepares reports and identifies potential clients.
Travels to see customers and attend trade shows to market products.
Prepares quotations, contracts, and follows up with customers.
Handle other tasks as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
2 years of outside sales & marketing experience
Traveling within the U.S. and abroad
Japanese skill
is a big plus
