Responsibilities

Understand the needs of potential customers and identify correct solutions for their applications.

Interface with customers both verbally and through written communication.

Prepare accurate and detailed written proposals with product pricing to present AMET Inc. products to potential customers.

Cooperate with the Mechanical Engineering Department to ensure that Design Concepts and Final Designs match customer expectations.

Negotiate Terms and Conditions of incoming contracts.

Act as the interface point between the customer and AMET Inc. throughout the manufacturing process.

Provide support to AMET Inc. Outside Sales Representatives.

Prepare product documentation.

Compile supporting information for quotes into a presentable document for customers.

Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivated.

Maintaining sales cost and communicating with customers.

Preferred Technical Skills / Education

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

1-2 Years of Experience of contract negotiations and/or technical writing.

Technical experience with electronics or welding.

An ability to work well with ever-changing priorities and/or situations.

Knowledge of PC based computers; Mac experience is a plus.

Proficient with word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software.
