JOB PROFILE Hall des Lumières is seeking a strategic, driven, and performance-focused Venue Sales Manager to support continued revenue growth and market expansion. This role is responsible for identifying and executing targeted sales strategies, cultivating high-value client partnerships, and managing the full sales lifecycle—from prospecting through contract execution and post-event follow-up. The Sales Manager plays a pivotal role in maximizing revenue across assigned market segments while upholding the venue’s ultra-luxury positioning.

Experience & Background

6–8+ years of experience in luxury venue or hospitality sales

Luxury hospitality experience strongly preferred

Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding revenue targets

Cross-Functional Collaboration This position works closely with:

Event venue leadership to drive shared corporate and group opportunities

Revenue Management team to align pricing and booking strategies

Internal departments to cultivate and convert qualified leads

Key Responsibilities Revenue Growth & Account Development

Drive revenue across corporate negotiated, entertainment, and group segments

Proactively source new business while strengthening existing client relationships

Execute quarterly and annual sales action plans

Maintain deep knowledge of the ultra-luxury hospitality market and venue positioning

Monitor competitive activity and emerging industry trends

Conduct venue walkthroughs, client meetings, sales calls, and trade show participation

Maintain monthly outbound prospecting and in-person engagement goals

Represent the venue at industry networking events

Identify client expectations and provide strategic feedback to leadership

Account Management & Reporting

Analyze monthly production and pacing reports

Leverage CRM platforms (TripleSeat) to drive ROI and track performance

Maintain accurate account profiles and sales activities in CRM

Coordinate VIP arrivals and conduct meet-and-greets as appropriate

Uphold strict confidentiality regarding guest, client, and event information

Operational Coordination

Respond promptly to inbound and reactive leads

Enter weekly sales activity into CRM daily

Generate and review sales pacing and production reports

Market Segment Focus Group Business

Respond to inquiries within 24 hours with proposals via TripleSeat

Collaborate with leadership on pricing strategy

Manage bookings and generate custom booking links

Oversee repeat bookings and client retention

Draft, negotiate, and execute contracts

Corporate Negotiated Accounts

Identify and secure new negotiated corporate accounts

Target local businesses for corporate productions and events

Partner with Membership teams to uncover new opportunities

Maintain reporting and account data within TripleSeat

Coordinate with Revenue and Production teams for system setup

Build strong relationships with creative agencies and production partners

Expand agency-driven production opportunities

Track demand tied to major entertainment moments (awards, fashion weeks, concerts, industry events)

Strategically capture market share of high-profile events

Additional Information

Oversees event sales and execution responsibilities

Participation in sales and marketing meetings (shared coverage with Sales & Marketing Coordinator)

Conducts venue walkthroughs and client meetings regularly

Willing to work on weekends for client site visits or booked events

This role offers an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to revenue strategy while representing one of New York’s most distinctive event destinations.

Base Salary: $100,000 + commission with full benefits + include 401k.
