
Job Summary
The Nature Safe Regional Sales Manager is responsible for developing and managing Nature Safe markets within the assigned territory (ND, SD, NE, MI, WI, IA, KS, OK, CO). The role involves recruiting, managing, motivating, and training distributors, setting expectations, and ensuring strong distribution networks. Key responsibilities include building grower relationships, promoting the company’s mission, serving as a technical resource, delivering presentations, and creating strategies to open new markets.
Essential Duties / Responsibilities
Develop and manage Nature Safe markets within the assigned territory.
Recruit, manage, motivate, and train distributors, creating and managing expectations.
Establish a strong distribution network in the region.
Build key grower relationships to drive distributor business.
Recruit additional distribution as necessary.
Communicate the company’s mission to current and new distributors.
Serve as a technical resource for distributors, customers, and the Nature Safe team.
Deliver end‑user and distributor directed presentations.
Develop and execute strategies to open new markets and associated business.
Exhibit and execute marketing strategy at trade shows.
All other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Minimum 5+ years of agricultural fertilizer sales experience or related field.
Strong understanding of agronomy with proven sales skills.
Must live in the assigned territory.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Agronomy, Plant Science, or related field.
Certified Crop Advisor License.
Proven industry track record of successful sales.
Highly organized with effective time management skills.
Self‑starter and highly motivated.
Physical Demands Frequently required to walk, stand, sit, stoop, kneel, crawl, and crouch. Occasionally may lift up to 100 lbs. with assistance, and regularly required to reach with hands and arms. Requires travel and related long hours.
Work Environment Job functions may be carried out from home, in customer and prospect locations, and in personal vehicle and commercial airlines. A valid driver’s license, clear driving record, and personal vehicle are required.
