We’re looking for a MOTH Drinks Sales Rep who can evolve our sales capabilities and execute at a high level in markets across the United States.
This role is perfect for a high‑potential sales professional on a clear development path towards a Territory Manager position and a career in Alc‑Bev. We’re looking for driven, entrepreneurial people who are excited to join a rapidly growing, culture‑first business.
What you’ll be doing Customer Facing and Relationship Building
Lead and execute MOTH Drinks strategies in local markets within a specified geographic territory, focusing on driving business within key accounts, trade advocacy and education.
Drive brand and SKU performance according to MOTH KPIs: volume and velocity within targeted accounts, quality of distribution, quantity and quality of brand activations.
Work in close partnership with US Marketing and Sales teams to execute brand training sessions across key account retailers, distributor personnel, gatekeepers and public.
Collaborate with key retail and on premise partners, in addition to local distributor personnel, to build relationships and execute brand goals.
Be on the cutting edge of territory knowledge – scope out new business opportunities, drive sales results and execute sales programs across new retail and on premise partners.
Product and Industry Knowledge
Serve as the market expert for MOTH Drinks, and reporting back to the team with data‑rich information on demographic/territory segments.
Providing cohesive storytelling and detailed training techniques to key retailers, account gatekeepers, distributor sales teams and potential customers.
Communicate brand features, aspects and MOTH‑specific selling points to potential customers within key retail and on premise accounts.
Account Activations
Host key retail and on premise account sampling events; driving market knowledge and sales of MOTH products.
Participate in trade shows, distributor sales meetings and community activities to drive brand awareness.
Providing updates to the MOTH team all account activations.
Performance Management & Data Reporting
Submit weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting to the MOTH team including, but not limited to, activation ROI, brand performance within key retailers, competitive landscape, pricing opportunities, trainings, etc.
Participate in weekly and monthly team meeting calls to discuss brand performance, success measures and areas of opportunity.
Confirm legal and compliance accountability across all account activations and day‑to‑day activities.
Requirements Who you are
Education: Bachelor’s Degree required
Industry Experience: 2‑4 years of experience within the beverage industry/3‑tier system. Established understanding of key accounts in market and relationships within distributor strongly preferred but not required.
Travel:
Candidate is required to have a valid driver’s license, a safe driving record and reliable vehicle at the time of hire. This position will undergo background checks on MVR, if needed.
Candidate is required to travel to company offices, sites, meeting locations, etc. for onboarding and training needs up to 5% of the time, with reasonable accommodation.
There will be some weekend and after hours work which you will receive Time Off In Lieu in line with MOTH’s policy.
Strong technical knowledge of Alc‑Bev industry, Food & Beverage/Hospitality industry. Keen understanding of market specifics and demographic information of assigned territory.
Excellent interpersonal skills for building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
In‑depth knowledge of Alc‑Bev consumption trends, cocktail trends, on premise specific trends, and consumer habits.
