Inside Sales/ Customer Service Representative

In-Person (Potential for Hybrid Schedule) Position Overview We are a growing manufacturer’s representative group serving the commercial foodservice and restaurant equipment industry. We represent leading manufacturers of cooking, refrigeration, prep, and specialty equipment to dealers and foodservice operators. We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Inside Sales/ Customer Service Representative to support our dealer network through quoting, order processing, and product support. This role is critical in ensuring accurate quoting, smooth order flow, and responsive service for restaurant projects ranging from small independent operators to large commercial kitchens. Key Responsibilities Prepare bids and quotes for restaurant equipment projects Manage dealer-specific pricing and project quotations Respond to product-related inquiries via phone and email (specifications, lead times, applications, accessories, etc.) Process purchase orders accurately and provide follow-up support Coordinate with manufacturers regarding pricing, availability, freight, and production timelines Assist in resolving order discrepancies, freight claims, and warranty issues Support assigned dealer accounts and build strong working relationships Participate in on-site training and shadowing to gain full ownership of dealer accounts Required Qualifications Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/ERP systems Preferred Qualifications Experience in inside sales, customer service, or foodservice/restaurant equipment (preferred not required) Ability to read and interpret equipment specifications and bid documents (preferred not required) In-person position with opportunity to earn a hybrid schedule Structured training program including shadowing and manufacturer product training Collaborative team environment supporting a fast-paced project-driven industry Medical and dental insurance (eligible after 1 month; employer covers 75% of premium) 401(k) with 3% company match (eligible after 6 months)
