Does this sound like you? The Credit Representative is responsible for managing the company’s credit and collections process for b2b clients within the conference and event industry. This role ensures timely payment of invoices, customer account maintenance, accurate application of funds, and proactive management of accounts receivable. The Credit Representative works closely with Sales Representatives to support top-notch customer success while protecting the company’s financial interests.

This position mitigates financial risk and enforces contractual payment terms related to sponsorships, exhibit space, media and meeting packages. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and professional communication to balance customer service with firm credit policy enforcement.

The Credit Representative collaborates with Sales, Event Operations and Accounting teams to maintain accurate records, resolve billing discrepancies, and ensure revenue is realized in accordance with contract terms and event timelines.

How you'll make an impact:

Monitor aging reports and proactively manage past-due accounts

Enforce contractual payment terms

Communicate with customers regarding outstanding balances and payment arrangements

Work with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies

Maintain accurate documentation of all collection activities

Communicate regularly with sales teams regarding customer activity

Works with Credit Lead on collection strategies

Other duties as assigned by Credit Lead or Manager

The skills & experience you'll need:

High school diploma.

1–2 years of experience in billing, collections, accounts receivable, or a related financial operations role

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite

Experience working in Salesforce or similar CRM systems preferred

Comfortable working with financial data, reporting tools, and internal systems

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy

Customer-focused mindset with the ability to communicate professionally and resolve inquiries effectively

Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams including Sales, Finance, and Customer Success

Team-oriented approach with a willingness to support shared goals

Naturally curious mindset with a desire to learn processes and continuously improve workflows

Up to 10% travel required (may vary based on business needs)

for this role is $18 - $23 with opportunity for bonus
